I’ve always known doula work was my calling. All things pregnancy, birth and babies have always fascinated me. I have 4 amazing kids and have been a surrogate for one wonderful couple. I am overjoyed when I support a mom and her partner welcome their baby into the world! I am so honoured to be apart of such an intimate journey of making a beautiful birth story.

Meghan Duffield
Meghan began her journey as a Birth Doula in 2013 with Birth Roots & Dona International. In 2016, following the birth of her youngest daughter, she was guided to deepen her practice and became a certified Childbirth Educator with Lamaze International. Meghan is an advocate of improving maternal wellness during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. This includes the support of a birthing person and their infant during the fourth trimester, and reducing interventions during childbirth for the best possible outcomes. She believes that the pregnancy and childbirth experience is deeply transformative; when the birthing person feels supported and safe in their most vulnerable moments. These moments of strength and self realization are empowering to the birthing person, which is a huge reason why Meghan loves this work, and is dedicated to this practice.
Along with her work as a Doula and LCCE, Meghan is a Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master, Shamanic Practitioner, Forest School Practitioner, and Author.
Meghan is honoured and infinitely grateful to support the birthing person, their birth partners, and families as they embark on this transformative journey.

Bodi Milljour
I am passionate about helping birthing people to find their own power as they birth not only their babies, but themselves as parents.
I hired a Doula for my first birth; her presence helped me feel heard, even when things seemed overwhelming.
Following the birth of my youngest child, my care provider suggested I consider becoming a Doula. I attended my first training in early 2003, and have been attending births ever since.

Karli Peters
I began my birth doula journey before the arrival of my first son many years ago. My heart has felt called upon this path after years of infertility and onward to motherhood; to be able to support, advocate, listen to and educate birthing persons and families on their own journeys. There are no words to encompass all a birthing person goes through as their little one is being born earth-side. I cherish each and every one of the families I work with and am honored to be a part of their story.
Ashton Stepien
I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a wife and mom of 2 ever-growing boys.
I believe our birth experiences matter, and each one is unique. My goal is to bring a calm, nurturing energy to your space and support and empower you in your birth and journey into parenthood.
As a postpartum doula I am there to allow families the time to rest, heal, nourish their bodies and adjust to life with their newest family member.
It would be a privilege to support you in this beautiful, yet sometimes challenging time.
Shea Pacaud (Accepting birth clients in Calgary)
My first experience with birth was at a very young age; my sister was born in our home when I was 9 and I remember watching the midwife and thinking wow, I want to do this when I grow up. As an adult––after graduating from college––I found my way back to birth work and I now work as a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and massage therapist (with a focus in prenatal and postpartum massage). Informed decision making, unbiased support and an evidence based approach are important to me and play a big role in the way I support the families I work with. I am passionate about assisting families through this chapter of their lives with open arms and the belief that they have the power to have the birth experience they want.

Brittany Falk
Hi, I’m Brittany, I’m both a Birth and Postpartum doula. Being a doula is something I am absolutely passionate about. All things pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond fascinate me and I am forever amazed by the strength of women! Since becoming a mother of triplets, followed very quickly by a 4th child, I knew my soul-work was here, as a doula. Being able to support, encourage, and empower others through this whole journey is where my heart is.
I believe that each birth experience matters, and each is unique. My goal as a member of your birthing team is to guide you with evidence based knowledge, while assisting you in making your experience your own.
I would be honoured to be a member of your birthing and/or postpartum team, supporting and encouraging you to make your prenatal, birth, and postpartum story your very own.
