I graduated from Mckay School of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1998. It was a fabulous learning experience that I will never forget. The way I perceive my body fundamentally changed. I now realize what my body can do for me; if I take care of it. I have brought this new outlook to the different types of establishments I have worked. From beautiful relaxing spas to chiropractic offices, I have been able to translate my learning into my treatments.
I am very passionate about pregnancy and birth and know it is essential to take care of oneself during this time. In the last few years I have become a mother to three wonderful, energetic little boys. Each birth brought different challenges and experiences which have enabled me to be compassionate and supportive of women through their own journey. I am very excited to be working in Birth Roots Doula Collective where women are nutured and loved.
I look forward to bringing relief, relaxation and a sense of peace into your life.

Infant Massage
Come and enjoy an Infant Massage moms group on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Birth Roots. Here you will learn techniques in massage that will help the bonding process. There are wonderful benefits to both baby and parent. Here are a few:
-Strengthens the bond/attachment between parent(s) and infant.
- Infant massage helps babies relax and sleep more soundly
- Massage can help relieve symptoms off gas, colic and constipation
- learn how babies communicate with us and how to understand their non-verbal cues.
- Adapt massage to the various stages of their growth and development.
- Learn how to adapt strokes for babies with special needs.
- Learn "gentle movements" that help babies become more comfortable in their bodies and increase their motor co-ordination.
