The Parenting and Birth Fair is a yearly festival of learning
about birth and parenting in Winnipeg. |

Birth Roots Doula Collective Inc. hosted the 4th Parenting & Birth Fair in May 2003.
Nearly 200 families spent the day with us, learning
about birth & parenting topics, and meeting the birth community in
Winnipeg.
Thanks very much to all the exhibitors, volunteers, and parents that made the
day such a success.
The Fair brings Winnipeg's Birth & Parenting community together to participate in workshops about parenting and
birth and make connections with over 30 local businesses and services that cater
to parents.
Free refreshments are provided.
On top of all that, we have fun
activities planned for your kids, and ChildFind will be on hand offering photos
and fingerprinting.
The 2004 Parenting & Birth Fair has yet to be scheduled. Info will be
posted here once we pick a date.

We offer a variety of free workshops about birth and
parenting topics at the Fair. Past topics include attachment
parenting, pets and kids, midwifery, nutrition, Infant and Child CPR,
preparing for the birth of a sibling, natural family planning, and
many more. Is there something you'd like to learn about at the
Fair?

Displays
In between workshops, you can browse through over 30 information tables
and meet all the businesses and services helping families in Winnipeg. For
a sampling of who attended our 4th Fair in May 2003, check out the
Resource Guide we published as a companion to the
Fair.
